Re Hartanto

R.E. Hartanto (Tanto), born in Bandung in 1973. He received his education in fine arts at the Studio Seni Lukis, Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Visual Arts and Design, Bandung Institute of Technology (1992-1998) and the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten, Amsterdam, Netherlands (2001-2002). Since 1998 until now, Tanto has been active as an artist, creating artworks, participating in group exhibitions and solo exhibitions, conducting workshops and art projects, joining artist in residence programs, and serving as a curator for art exhibitions on various occasions. Besides his artistic endeavors, Tanto also teaches courses and writes an art blog at Klinik Rupa Dokter Rudolfo. Tanto is an ambassador for the Royal Talens brand, a manufacturer of art supplies based in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, for the period 2022-2025.
