He pursued his last educational endeavor at the Indonesian Arts Academy (ASRI) in Yogyakarta from 1955 until 1960. Notably, he played a pivotal role as one of the founders of Sanggar Bambu in Yogyakarta in 1959, a significant artistic collective in the region.

In his artistic career, Mulyadi W embarked on a notable touring exhibition of Java and Madura alongside other members of Sanggar Bambu, showcasing his talents and the collective's creative output. In 1967, he held a solo exhibition, demonstrating his prowess and individual artistic expression.
